I often get asked the following questions – what does the Strep B test kit look like, is it sent in plain packaging, what do the swabs look like, what information is contained?
So here is an in depth look at what you’ll receive when your order a Group B Strep kit from us…
Firstly, your kit is dispatched directly from the laboratory by First Class Royal Mail delivery. The packaging is totally discreet with no mention of what is inside. It fits through your letterbox, so you don’t need to be in to receive the kit.
Inside your envelope the kit is in a cardboard box to protect the GBS testing swabs.
Inside the box you will find the following:
A leaflet which details all about Group B Streptococcus, how to take the test and how to track your delivery.
There are two sterile swabs ready for use. There are use by dates on the base of the swab packaging.
There is also your personal Royal Mail tracking label and a medical envelope to return the GBS test kit to the laboratory. Please make a note of the tracking number so you check the kits has arrived at the laboratory. The envelope can just be popped in any post box, no postage is required.
